Root Beer

Well I found way to make Root Beer in a 2 liter bottle and its not to bad. Give it a try if you want and let me know what you think of it.

"Root Beer in a bootle”

Things you need:
clean 2 liter plastic soft drink bottle with cap
funnel
1 cup measuring cup
1/4 tsp measuring spoon
1 Tbl measuring spoon
cane (table) sugar [sucrose] (1 cup)
Zatarain's Root Beer Extract (1 tablespoon)
powdered baker's yeast (1/4 teaspoon) (Yeast for brewing would certainly work at least as well as baking yeast.)
cold fresh water

1.Using a clean bottle and a dry funnel, add the ingredients in sequence as stated in the steps that follow. First add a level cup of table sugar, (or cane sugar). Adjust the amount to achieve the desired sweetness.
2.Yeast on sugar
Measure out 1/4 teaspoon powdered baker's yeast, and place in the funnel. The yeast should be fresh and active, and any brand that is available will work.
3.Shake well to make sure that the yeast grains are distributed evenly into the sugar.
4.Swirl the sugar/yeast mixture in the bottom in order to make it concave and enable it to catch the extract in the middle.
5.Replace the funnel, and add 1 Tbsp of root beer extract on top of the dry sugar.
Notice how the extract sticks to the sugar. This will help dissolve the extract as seen in the next few steps .
6.Fill the bottle halfway with fresh cool tap water that has only a little chlorine. Pour through the funnel and use this opportunity to rinse extract stuck to the funnel and tablespoon. Swirl to dissolve the ingredients.
7.Fill the bottle to the neck, this time with fresh water, leaving only about an inch (2.54cm) of head space. Securely screw the cap so as to seal the bottle. Invert repeatedly to thoroughly dissolve the contents.
8.Place the sealed bottle at room temperature for about three or four days until the bottle feels hard to a forceful squeeze. Then move it to a cool place (below 65 F (18 C)). Refrigerate overnight to thoroughly chill before serving. Crack the lid of the bottle just a little to release the pressure slowly.

Well I got some time to work on the car and...

the Cleggs says the head is fine just sand the bolt "groves" smooth. so a litle time with the derimal and some sand paper later, it looks great..

now comes the wait for the the head gasket to get here, and the total price at this point in time to fix it is 88.27

The sound of ....

If you ever wanted to know what is sounds like when a bolt gets into your freshly rebuilt, less then 8000 mile motor, I can save you the heart ack.... and the money, it sounds like click click then the car doesnt go.

Come to find out one of the bolts that holds the air cleaner down didnt have lock tite on it. and now you knwo the rest of the story :P

I LOVE IT, Gears of War is awsome in 720p and Zelda on my Wii is great in wide screen 480p.

Modding a Geo???

Yeah why not?? Its Like driving a go-cart on the streets and the mods are why cheap or have to be custom made. Ill be into the Turbo setup about $250 to $400 Denpending an if I need to rebuild the Turbo. It Should Push out about 125 hp Which is awsome because the stock motor pushes like 45 hp.

I can't figure out why I would rather mod my Metro than my 2.3 L Mustang powered Street Legal Dune buggy.

Mmmmm Turbo...

So I got a KKK K03 turbo off of ebay for $50 and Im going to put it on my metro

So I am going to buy....

A Geo Metro that has a rebuilt engine, is bored .020 over spec, has a 3tech performance head with a 218/350 cam , a Swift GT flywheel/PP/Clutch (lighter and stronger then Geo Parts), a new oil pump, gaskets, and bearings. Its been lowered 3 inchs, has Mk4 swaybars. The idle sounds like half of a built v6. It revs quick and past 3500 rpm it revs so fast and pulls so hard it will make you grin.




Im doing this because the "Sick Little Turdall" Motor is shot . RIP :( :(

Well I have done it I bought my self a 30gig Video Ipod 5.5 gen. WOW this thing is awsome! the only thing i would change is to give it aleast a 5 band EQ.

I make More money here even after paying for my own benefits I only have to drive 15 mins to get to work. I leave early on Fridays and get paided a full 40 hours. I take lunch when I want and for as long as I want. The boss buys us lunch about once a week. One Day I left Sick with 3 hours left in the day and guess what I was paid 40 hours for that week ... Most of the time my boss doesn’t care what I’m doing as long as the work gets done. So when the works over I watch movies, surf anywhere I want (NO I am NOT NOAH), Play on my GP2x, Download music.....

OR

I can go back to D3ntrix and make less money spend 2X as much on gas to get to work, If I leave early on a Friday I do not get paid 40 hours and If I dont hit 40 hours they will use a 4 hour chunk of PTO to make it up. If I’m 7 mins late 3 times I have to be afraid of losing my job. If i leave sick i have to use my PTO in 4 hour chunks. PLUS have the off chance that Queue Flexing could come back.....

The ONLY thing I Really Miss From D3ntrix is My Friends!!!!

So to answer WWJD? I would ......










Rather live on welfare then go back to work for D3ntrix. :)

So I came to work in my kilt and my boss laughed because I have told him the story.

I do have to say this office gets way to Quiet at times. Lots of time to think and a lot more typing.
